Ripe Mango Season 2025
Sadly, we are no longer accepting orders for shipping for 2025. All the fruit we have available have been purchased. We were hoping to have a late harvest on Kents but they did not hold out.
Mango season is early this year. No freezes this winter but we had cool overnight temps well into spring which inspired the trees to bloom multiple times. Instead of a single wave of 1 to 3 weeks some varieties may ship for two weeks but not consecutive weeks. The crop was coming along and looked like we were set for the typicaly early July opening of the farm stand with shipping to begin shortly thereafter. Late May brought an end to a very dry spring with several downpours that started to speed things up. Much like last year, the crop is being difficult to predict long range. Therefore, we recommend placing your order early, especially for the limited varieties. We will communicate ship dates as they are scheduled. If you plan to be unavailable to accept the delivery at some point during the summer please include those dates in the comments so we can prevent a delivery when might be away on vacation or otherwise unavailable.
VARIETIES
We ship one Classic and four Premium varieties. The Classic Tommy Atkins is the quintessential old Florida mango. It is a heavy and consistent producer and not susceptible to many of the challenges of the other varieties. The Premium varieties are our divas, challenging to grow, but they have amazing flavor and little to no fiber. The Pickering had a decent crop and will be available in the Single Cartons and Sampler plans. Southern Blush follow midseason and will be available in all sizes. Kent we expect to have both a mid and late season shipment. Keitts are unavailable this year. So we are going to substitute the new late variety Beverly which is also low fiber with a sweet rich flavor similar to Hayden. Beverly will replace the Keitt in the Samplers and is also available in the Single Carton. As the various varieties are not expected to reach their peak at the same time you will need to choose which variety you want to try. If you want to try them all we do offer Sampler Plans at a discount.

PACKAGE SIZES
Our three primary package sizes remain the same. The cost of UPS Ground is included in the pricing. If the delivery address is more than 3 days transit time then an expedited shipping method will be required or the order will be cancelled. Please review the UPS map on the item page to determine your best option. Price adjustments were only required for expedited shipping this year.

SHIPPING
UPS Ground shipping is the default and is included in the pricing. Mangos ship mature but green and start to ripen in transit. Up to 3 days in transit is not a problem. This way they arrive while they are still firm and can finish ripening up in your care and avoid the bruising that would occur if they were still in transit.
If your delivery address is in an area with 4 or more days transit time you will need to select an expedited shipping method. In most cases 3 Day Select is the most cost effective option.
We also offer 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air Saver as options. Reducing the days in transit never creates a problem but be aware they will still need those days to ripen for eating.
Next Day Air Saver is not available to all addresses and we are not notified that it is not an option to any given shipping address until the system is actually told to process the label. It is rare, but if this occurs the shipping will automatically be adjusted to 2nd Day Air and the difference in cost will be refunded.
Sorry no shipments to CA, AZ, or HI as it is not allowed by those states. We can ship to Alaska but shipping costs are not included in the pricing structure.
Shipments week of June 30 – Friday July 4 is a national and UPS holiday so there will be no deliveries. To ensure everything gets delivered on time we will only be scheduling Ground shipments with 1-2 day estimated transit times as well as expedited deliveries.
SAMPLER & MANGO LOVERS CLUB
Order deadline for Samplers and Mango Lover’s Club will be Friday July 4 due to the brevity of the season.
Sampler packages consist of multiple shipments. Each are available in both the Personal and Single package sizes. The Variety Samplers are a total of 5 shipments including all of our varieties. The Premium Samplers are a total of 4 shipments this year including just the premium varieties. This year shipments will be weekly, if time allows.
The Mango Lovers Club is for those of you who want to receive a shipment every week. We can customize the package sizes and the varieties shipped. For example if the Kent variety is your favorite we will send you those as many weeks as they are available and fit in the other varieties you like around those. Some years we are able to include a special shipment or two of a new and unique variety. This year most of those varieties did not produce very well so that might not be possible. To enroll in the Mango Lovers Club you need to do so over the phone.
